Road: Not great, with some potholes, but doable with any car.
Pets: Not allowed.
Pass: Northwest Forest Pass or America the Beautiful.

Comments: Gorgeous views with moderately little effort necessary to reach the pass. Go on a blue bird day to enjoy views of Mount Stewart, Rainier, and other mountains.
Notice that the trailhead is super busy, as it is shared with Lake Ingalls. It's better to arrive early to get a parking spot.
